Accelerometer issues

Hello,

I bought a Chuwi Hi10 Air and I'm having some trouble figuring out why accelerometer doesn't work. I realized it wasn't after trying your solution 2in1screen:

/sys/bus/iio/devices/iio:device*/in_acel* doesn't exist.
It shows this message: "Unable to find any accelerometer".

Checking logs, everytime I boot this message shows.
bmc150_accel_i2c i2c-BOSC0200:00: Invalid chip 3

After googling for some hours, looks like the chip_id is not storing the correct value, but I'm not sure why. I tried with Antergos, Arch and Xubuntu. In Xubuntu I'm using 5.1 RC7 kernel, as I read you commited a patch to support touchscreen.

Did it work out of the box for you? Any idea how to debug this problem?

Hum, I could swear I sent a reply to this... twice. Anyways, sorry for the late response. I haven't had any issues with the rotation system. Although everything I ever used were some Arch based Distros (Antergos with different Desktop Environments and Arch from scratch) and never had to install any tools for the sensor to work, only xorg-xrandr and xorg-xinput for my actual script to work. However, if you check https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Tablet_PC#Automatic_rotation you might find some help. Possibly iio-sensor-proxy could be of some help here?

Hello. Just checked this... The tablet's drive went read only mode so I had to return it. Thank you anyway!! Keep on the hard work.
