LISF Model Crash Issue Using ERA5 Data

Hi everyone,

I am currently using ERA5 meteorological data to force the LISF model. The model crashes without any bug errors after line 73, which shows "Noah-3.6 Landuse type MODI - found 20 categories." More details can be found below:
70 [INFO] Using ERA5 forcing
71 [INFO] ERA5 forcing directory: ./ERA5.FORCING
72 [INFO] Reading Noah-3.6 vegetation parameter file: ./INPUT/LS_PARAMETERS/noah36_parms/VEGPARM.TBL
73 [INFO] Noah-3.6 Landuse type MODI - found 20 categories

I am wondering if anyone has encountered the same problem. It would be great if anyone could provide some insights to help resolve this issue.

Hi @UDTIAN

Can you please check the end of all of your lislog files?

It's likely that there will be a more informative error message at the end of one of them.

We output a lislog file for every processor, and if the domain within one of those processors revealed an issue,
the user will likely get an error message.

Thank you for your response. I have reviewed all four lislog files, and they appear identical. If a sample ERA5 meteorological forcing file is available on the LIS team, it would be very helpful if you could share it with me so that I can debug the ERA5 meteorological forcing file I generated.
