Is the process for CMIP7 ndep datasets still to first run WACCM?

In CESM2 the process for creating ndep datasets was to run WACCM and create ndep (and I think other datasets like Ozone) from the output. Is the process going to be the same for CMIP7? And if so what would the timeline look like for that? I assume that would mean tuning WACCM first and then run it to create the output to be used in the input datasets.
