Our team has this, which is a space where we drop anything that isn't ready for official docs: https://geos-esm.github.io/SMT-Nebulae/

It's on a repository, markdown and self-deploy via githyub action with a working search feature, which is why we chose it over a wiki

Happy to have a github.io site as well, just as long as we have some public-facing site

We can demonstrate our setup - it's very easy. Bonus: it could link a hand made documentation and the automatic code API docs.

We aim to deploy something like this in NDSL and pyFV3
