Request to remove constrictions on start date and end date

Hi Linus,

It seems the date constraints haven't been removed yet?

I'm having the same issue today, and had to fake the end date, because SDIS thinks 2100-12-31 is not realistic. As you know a lot of the model output data needs to have an end date into the future.

The current date requirements (in place for a year) are:
There must be a start date.
The start date cannot be in the future.
The end date, if present, cannot be before the start date.

I have checked with both an empty end date and an end date in the future.

Are you saying we should allow start dates in the future?
