Add smoke tests to the test suite

Right now we are not testing any code from the repo via pytest. Need to add at least import smoke tests to make sure the codebase is covered.

Later, we need to extend the tests to include the pipeline execution to make sure the code, released via this repo, will be able to run the analysis pipelines at the beamline.
