Greetings STIG Manager Team,
I've been trying to find my way around STIG Manager to use in my home lab Proxmox server, in order to acquire some expertise for later use in cybersecurity.
As Proxmox is based in DebianOS, I realised that https://www.cyber.mil/ didn't have any updates for this release, as well as some other applications such as Docker.
To overcome this absence, particularly for smaller size servers with 'older' distributions, or at least less common, I thought about creating a script to convert the CIS STIG PDF documents to fully integrated XCCDF benchmarks, both in .zip or .xml.
I've successfully tested this script on the latest CIS documentation both for Debian11 and Docker.
Please let me know if this might interest you. I'd be very interested in contributing to this Open Source Project.
Best regards.
