Add support for Visual Studio 2026

Visual Studio 2026 has been released on November this year. It would be great to use PhysX with this new release of Visual Studio, bringing its benefits in our setup. Thanks!

Since Microsoft now have removed VS2022 from their official download page, only 2026 is offered, fixing this would be nice.

Yes, what is going on here. It's $CURRENT_DATE and I see that the important physics lib of big super corp still doesn't support the latest VS. What, am I trying to use obsolete software or something?

Well, it seems using the vc17 option and changing the build script cmake_generate_projects.py to use VS 2026 for vc17 works.

Yeah, we need it. There are almost no tutorials that explains how to link PhysX in a readable step by step manner. I might have to try Copilot.
