NemoClaw v0.0.38 Tag Update
Today was one of those long, useful days where the little things added up to something real. We moved through the review queue carefully, one PR at a time, and turned a pile of sharp-edged fixes into the v0.0.38 tag. Some of the work was visible, some of it was plumbing, and some of it was the kind of cleanup that only gets noticed when it is missing.
The big theme was reliability. Uninstall now cleans up the Ollama auth proxy, destroy no longer tears down a shared gateway unless explicitly asked, status and list commands keep showing useful information even when gateway probing gets unhappy, and stale inference DNS routes now repair themselves. We also tightened onboarding behavior, installer recovery guidance, runtime docs, and the test coverage around the places where state can otherwise linger after the user thinks they are done.
We also made good progress on the model and integration surface: Kimi health checks are now model-aware, Kimi reasoning noise is suppressed, Slack placeholder rewriting is fixed before egress, and the Hermes Discord facade made it in after a careful maintainer replay. CI and docs got stronger too, with coverage honesty checks, environment-variable drift gates, CLI help parity checks, sprint automation, and the v0.0.38 release docs. The v0.0.38 tag is cut now, and the green nightly e2e gives us the confidence to call it shipped.
