I want to contribute to this repo. I don't have the knowledge of k8s much. Is there any suggestion for the issue to start with?

Here's what I'd recommend:

1. Start with Documentation & Small Fixes.
2. Learn the Codebase: Read through the main README and architecture documentation, Explore the repository structure to understand the project's scope.
3. Read the CONTRIBUTING.md - It explains the DCO (commit signing requirement) and workflow
4. Browse all open issues and pick something that interests you

In the meanwhile, Ill check with maintainers which areas would be best for a newcomer.
