Build circuit from QASM string

Describe the feature

This feature would allow for native import of QASM to build a PyKernel instance. Given we cannot iterate over the PyKernel gates/operations to manually build this external to cudaq, this feature is sorely needed.

My question is how I can iterate over a circuit to get the gates and qubits so that I can add this feature myself where needed. That'd be appreciated.

Hi @ACE07-Sev - please take a look at #3676. I don't think it satisfies the original request (titled "Build circuit from QASM string"), but it does perhaps address the above comment. (I also think that others have asked for that 2nd request. I suspect there are open issues for that, but I did not search.)

The usage for the PR I posted is demonstrated in the python/tests/backends/test_trace_kernel.py file of that PR.

Hi - just had the same issue, I wanted to construct the cudaq kernel directly from a qiskit circuit or an OpenQASM file. I worked on it and made the PR #3847. Hope this helps the community.
