ZFA - Display Regional Rail as Separate ZoLa Layer #1280
Description
Summary
As a ZoLa map viewer, I want regional rail lines (LIRR, Metro-North, NJ Transit) displayed as a separate map layer so that they are visually distinct from subway lines and easier to identify.
Background
Currently, ZoLa combines regional rail data with other transit visuals, which makes it difficult for users to distinguish between subways and regional rail. Stakeholders requested that regional rail be broken out into its own layer to improve clarity and usability.
Acceptance Criteria
- Regional rail lines (LIRR, Metro-North, NJ Transit) display as a separate ZoLa layer.
- Regional rail layer is visually distinct from subway lines.
- Layer can be toggled on/off independently from subway layers.
- Display style follows approved design specifications
