As a ZoLa map viewer, I want regional rail lines styled for improved visual clarity so that they are easier to distinguish from subway lines and provide a clearer map experience.
Background
Currently, regional rail lines share visual similarities with subway lines, which can make it difficult for users to differentiate between them. Stakeholders requested updated styling for regional rail to improve legibility, maintain consistency with overall design standards, and support better usability across the map.
Acceptance Criteria
- Regional rail lines (LIRR, Metro-North, NJ Transit) are styled in a way that is visually distinct from subway lines.
- Styling follows approved design specifications.
- Regional rail lines remain clear and readable at all supported map views.
- Styling is consistent across the entire regional rail dataset.
