How to upload fsaverage surface maps (instead of NIFTI volume)?

Is it possible to upload two fsaverage surface maps (one per hemi) instead of a single NIFTI volume file using this tool?

And one more question: I found the API docs for neurovault here, but they cover only the GET API. Are there any docs for the upload/POST API as well?
