Why wasn't the HTTPS certificate renewed automatically, even though the logs appear normal?

Since I launched NPM in 2024, HTTPS certificate renewals had been working fine until yesterday, when the website showed that the HTTPS certificate had expired. After checking, I found that the logs indicated a 3-month certificate was renewed in May and should expire in August. However, the renewed certificate never actually took effect, even though the logs show everything as normal. How can I troubleshoot the cause of this issue?
