any way to take the gif and cut it into segments?

so i make skins for ships in eve online and i make several variations of the ship skins. i don't like making individual videos or gifs for them. so i then take the whole thing into another program to do so but i can only have a certain size file or smaller for it. usually the file is way to big. so i have to take to another editor to make it smaller. would be so cool to do it all in just this program. does anyone know of a way i can just do it in program?

Just to articulate the issue here, what you're saying is (1) you don't have the ability to edit your recordings enough to which you could "split" your long video (presumably screen recordings of your ships?) to smaller videos? (2) You're also not getting the file sizes you would require out of screen to gif?

im asking if this tool has the ability to break a longer video into smaller i gues you could say clips. as it be easier then doing so ealse where to do it. i usualy use another sight but spome of my longer videos are to larg file size tousethe sight.
