Feature Request: highlight selected column

It is great that there are hot keys to navigate columns ( like CTRL+RIGHT, CTRL-LEFT ) but I can't see which column is currently selected ( before I then scroll using the DOWN key ).
Hightlighting selected column, e.g.  with some sort of frame around it, would be a nice enhancement !
