Proposal: Spanish translation (es) for nix.dev documentation

Hi!

I’m a native Spanish speaker and I would like to contribute a Spanish (es) version of nix.dev documentation.

Before starting implementation, I’m opening this issue to discuss the proposal first, since this may be a significant change.

Motivation

There is a growing Spanish-speaking Nix community, and Spanish documentation could make learning and onboarding easier.

Proposed approach

• Start with a small, high-impact subset (e.g. introduction/getting started pages).
• Keep English as the source of truth.
• Submit small, incremental PRs to make review and maintenance easier.

Questions

• Are community-maintained translations accepted in this repository?
• Do you prefer a specific i18n structure/workflow for translated docs?
• Which sections should be prioritized first?

If this sounds good, I can prepare an initial PR with the structure and first translated pages.

Great initiative! I've been researching how different open-source documentation projects handle translation maintenance, and the Nix ecosystem would be an interesting case.

A question I keep coming back to across projects: once the initial Spanish translation is done, how do you envision keeping it in sync when the English nix.dev docs change? Is the plan to manually diff and update, or do you have something more automated in mind?

Curious because this seems to be the make-or-break point for most community translation efforts — the initial translation gets done, then falls behind within months as the English docs evolve.
