Equibop has had a lot of new releases since 2.1.7, with the Nixpkgs package last being updated 2025-10-07. I tried bumping it with nix-update, but first I ran into issues with the disable_update_checking.patch file not applying to the latest version. Then, I discovered that in the time since, they have changed the build system from using pnpm to using bun. Some plugins (notably, the plugin that provides Rich Presence support via arRPC—now it wants another project called arRPC-bun, apparently) are now asking for a newer version of Equicord in order to work.
From looking around, it doesn't look like there's any sort of infrastructure for packaging things with bun in Nixpkgs, though there are out-of-Nixpkgs methods like bun2nix.
