Description
Previous meetings: https://github.com/NixOS/rfc-steering-committee/issues
General business
Present in the meeting: @eelco, @silvan, @tom
- @infinisil: Can we automatically add the open-for-nominations label to new RFCs?
- Should be fine
- tomberek: Label is fine, but the official call-for-nominations starts a clock
- The clock doesn't matter much, people should nominate as early as possible
- Label only is fine
- announce FCPs in additional venues?
- @marketing team: tweet, scocial, Matrix
- Steering committee as bridge to the marketing team
- Don't do it for the current FCP PR, might invite a lot more comments (not bad but changes the process)
- Also needs rfcs README update
- @tomberek will talk to the marketing team
- committee rotation
- call for additional RFC Steering Committee members
- @infinisil will draft it from a previous call, ping the internal channel, then post if looks good
