I had to downgrade the extension to v0.8.21 because the latest version blocks validation with the error:

"Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'file')"

Steps to reproduce:

1. Install the latest Nomic Foundation Solidity extension.
2. Create a new Foundry project (forge init).
3. Open a .sol file from the project.

Observed behavior: Validation is blocked; no errors or warnings are shown.

Expected behavior: Validation should work and display errors/warnings in-line.

Additional info: Tried a fresh VS Code and extensions installation and setup; issue persists.

Thank you, this problem has been solved temporarily. The latest version v0.8.25 still has the problem.

temperorally i added this to foundy.toml and it solve this issue , i couldn't recognize where is problem exactly , is it about (solc , or EVM server Problem )

solc_version = "0.8.24"
evm_version = "cancun"
fs_permissions = [{ access = "read-write", path = "./" }]

I am able to reproduce this with the a new project init'ed from forge.

When I run this locally with the current version of the extension in main I don't see the error:

"Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'file')"

This might be a bug in bundling of the vsix.
