Confirming image before upload happens #471
Description
I was curious if there is any risk with confirming slot no. 0 image before an actual upload happens? We've gotten into a weird situation where some users have slot no. 0 (running image) as not confirmed, and slot no. 1 as confirmed due to some accidental downgrading.
Due to this the uploads silently fail. As far as I understand we have two options here:

Reset device before the new upload

Confirm slot no. 1 before the new upload

has a drawback of bad UX due to swap time and unexpected reset, but I am unaware of any risks with second approach.
