Support filtering for entries without a tag

I'm trying to find any items that do not currently have a tag. I've attempted to filter using:
smos-query next tag:, smos-query next tag:"",smos-query next not:tag but none work. Is it possible to do this now?

Related: is there a way to add a work report check that an item has any tags?
