Installation instructions for Cursor are (and should be) identical to Claude and if someone don't like the word .claude, they can install the SKILL inside the folder .agents/skills within their project, OR install globally on Cursor or install globally on Cursor (instructions varies per OS).
One should not copy the skill file into a Cursor "rule" file and anyway all the reference files are completely ignored in current instructions (also bad).
Cursor rules or not for those sort of things. "skills" is a better place, and I would even say it is a a sub-optimal place to put hallmark instructions as it will needlessly bloat a project's SKILLs folder. Hallmark should run only on specific prompts for generating designs. I would simply place the SKILL + reference files in a "random" folder, not to "pollute" the skills/rules/whatever with something I would use very rarely, and when needed I will simply drag that folder and type my prompt and that's it. keep it isolated.
I would also advise to adopt it (the hallmark instructions) to the current project's theme (colors, spacing etc.)
