Hi,
I finally got my audio working with an HDMI-adapter that pretends to be a display, so I can send the 5.1-Audio to my AV-Receiver via HDMI (the only way to do this currently, as SPDIF lost the function in Windows).
I just want the audio, cause HDMI doesn't support the full display rate of the monitor, so that is attached via DP.
I would love to remove the non existing display (or detaching), if the audio is still working though.
I don't want to mess my current setting (it was a pain to get it working), so i just want to know, if the audio-output-device (from the virtual monitor) stays online with the detachment of the monitor?
