I am trying to update Odoo bitnami 15.0 and it isn't working

I followed this guide https://medium.com/@karan.bk/upgrade-odoo-database-with-openupgrade-a951dfdf13cf and tried to update from 15.0 to 16.0. But after running the upgrade /opt/bitnami/odoo$ /opt/bitnami/odoo/bin/odoo-bin -c /opt/bitnami/odoo/odoo15_16.conf --database=database_to_upgrade --upgrade-path=/opt/bitnami/odoo/OpenUpgrade/openupgrade_scripts/scripts --load=base,web,openupgrade_framework --update all --stop-after-init, it didn't update, it just created a new database full of examples in 15.0

I followed step by step and I believe i made everything correct. The problem is that i'm using bitnami?
