Arducam not working in demo-image-full

In the official JetPack 6.1 image from NVIDIA, I am able to see my arducam by running this command:

gst-launch-1.0 nvarguscamerasrc sensor-id=0 ! nvvidconv ! xvimagesink

However, it doesn't work in the demo-image-full image for the Jetson Orin Nano dev kit. I get the below error. Can someone suggest next steps? Thanks in advance.

I am able to run this command to save a single camera frame to a jpg file:
gst-launch-1.0 nvarguscamerasrc sensor-id=0 num-buffers=1 ! nvjpegenc ! filesink location=test.jpg

Most likely my issue has something to do with the xvimagesink

Based on the error messages, it sounds like a caps negotiation problem, maybe due to NVMM vs normal raw buffers. Increasing the gstreamer debug log level would probably help in figuring out exactly what's failing there.

When I test the gstreamer plugins, I use xvimagesink for single-frame output (for testing nvjpegenc), and use nv3dsink for video output.

The section in the L4T developer guide on Accelerated GStreamer should provide some useful info, too.
