Didn’t know that module existed, looks expensive though. When a Weishaupt technician visited I noticed they plug in to the heatpump (without the need for such a module) and can access the internal modbus communication, which updates far quicker and gives access to more data points.

Yes, I have got this device:

More and more users are interested in smart home technology, even if it’s just to monitor the status of their heating system, inverter, battery storage, car charger, etc.
Until now, for Weishaupt WTC devices, you’ve always needed either the WEM portal (disadvantages: lack of real-time capability, time-limited paid license) or a Weishaupt protocol converter (very expensive: 700 to 800 euros).

By analyzing the protocol, you can now read and display the values directly (e.g. in Node-RED, Home Assistant, Windows/Linux/AmigaOS [curl])
-- without needing expensive protocol converters or WEM portal licences.
