we'd love your suggestions and ideas on how to improve the OWASP Board Candidates page! What information would you like to see there to better understand each candidate? Please keep in mind that any new data should be verifiable and ideally collected automatically without manual updates. Your feedback will help us make the page more transparent, reliable, and useful for the entire community.

I went through the Board Candidates page and the two heatmaps (OWASP ecosystem contributions and community engagement).
The data itself is already highly valuable, especially for transparency. However, as a viewer, I found it a bit challenging to interpret at a glance, particularly when trying to compare candidates quickly.

Right now, it’s not very clear what “high” or “low” activity actually means. The heatmaps don’t explain what the colours represent, what time range they cover, or how to read intensity across candidates, which makes it easy to misinterpret the data.
A small improvement could be adding clear legends/labels, a short description of what each heatmap measures, and tooltips showing actual counts or ranges. This would keep everything fully automated and verifiable, while making the page much easier to understand and more transparent for voters.
