Preview charts without having to add them to a worksheet.

Can you add the ability to create a chart without adding it to a worksheet, I want to create previews in a taskpane for charts by using the getImage, without having to add a chart to a worksheet than calling getImage. Also, being able to copy an object to a clipboard using the api would be nice, i could than have previews for charts in the task pane, have a button to copy the object, and they could paste the (chart/whatever the object is) wherever they want in a worksheet.
