openDocument in Excel and Powerpoint

I can see openDocument API for Word application. We can pass URL here to open document. With this basically dummy document wont get created under user's local directory (which is done by create document API).

Can you tell me which API to be used for Excel and Powerpoint applications to open document using URL?

Hi @ishanig11, we don't currently have an API to open a document in Excel and PowerPoint. We track Office Add-in feature requests on our Microsoft 365 Developer Platform Ideas Forum. Please add your request there. Feature requests on are considered when we go through our planning process.
