Sandisk extream SR128 doesn't work

these are the 2 types of cards i tend to use.

it seems that only the 128g ultra cards with the manufacture date of 2024 may.
tried a 256g and a newer 128 card and could not read them.
this was all on the same PI. Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Plus Rev 1.4
