In-app updater didn't work correctly #218

@Reletr

Description

@Reletr

Prerequisites

Environment

OS version: Windows 11, Ver. 25H2

Mapping Tools version: 1.12.26 --> 1.12.27

Description

When using the in-app pop-up to update Mapping Tools, the app returns an error message, and the update window would be perpetually stuck.

This issue can be circumvented by deleting and reinstalling Mapping Tools from scratch, though deletion wasn't possible until I restarted by PC (files could not be deleted due to still being used, even though neither Mapping Tools nor Onova Updater were active in Task Manager).

Reproduction

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open Mapping Tools 1.12.26
  2. Update the app via the in-app pop-up
  3. See error

Additional context

Once, when exiting the update window but not Mapping Tools itself, the mouse would cause sections of the app to become black, like a pixel/fill tool in Paint.
