Decided to adopt and port the project to go

Hey guys,

Just wanted to let you know that I've got a Go port of memvid coming.
It's interesting. Should still be api compatible, but I changed the bitrate settings, the chunking strategy, and the string length.
Performance gains should be substantial.

Happy to share anything I've learned here, if you're interested. :)
And I'll post a link to my repo when it's done, in case you want to review.

All the foundational code is written, it's just a matter of debugging. I should have it later today.

Okay, so a couple of things.

I think I'm going to diverge from the original design and just do the memory system. Make it a rest api, so it converts to mcp easily. Make it more general. Should even still integrate with the original if you want it to. Api should be compatible. A few new functions.

Biggest problem I'm hitting, trying to resolve it now, is scale. Doing this in the file system is going to break with even a few concurrent agents storing information. So, I'm going to do it as a memory cache, letting it persist on shutdown. It feels so weird saying, "Yes, a 500% performance gain isn't enough!" But here we are. So, I'm going to get a nice purdy memory cache going.

Prolly looking at tomorrow night.
