Is it possible to generate QR code for opening for example a PDF file like they do here:

Hey @BDVGitHub. You can do it by providing a URL to a PDF file.

I got the same results after scanning the QR.

If you meant uploading a PDF file, this is not possible.
In your example, this is achieved by a dynamic QR Code. This means uploading a file to their servers and using a provided randomized URL managed by their service.

Or for vCard information

So that you only need to provide the necassary information and that the proper format is automatically generated?

I have that idea in mind, but this is not a priority at this moment. This would probably be the case when I change the design of the plugin.
