Thank you for the report. Yes, wrapping up raw pointers is in progress.
It is long-term task and we have a huge progress.
math_* package is deprecated and in next releases will be mark deprecated and removed later.
But raw pointers are planned to be repalced with unique_ptr or some containers (in case of vectors)
