Special characters input

IMO there would be useful if there would be a way to input some special characters, ie. greek letters and some mathematical symbol (square, cubic, squareroot, cap, cup aso.). It is tiring to copy them one another into a text, and the builtin TeX widget don't use correct fonts to national letters like hungarian á, é, í, ő, ó, ö, ü, ű.

there is such an app. It is called Latex2Svg and you can find it in the library (the right palette) under the "applications" folder

Sorry, I just misread your post. Can you describe a little more what you're experiencing ?

If I understood well, maybe one solution would be to use a font and standard text boxes for your text, and LateX2Svg for he math symbols. Is it what you're trying to achieve ?
