The Table of Contents and the body of the Guidance section (Section 3) use different section numbers, and one section listed in the ToC does not appear in the body.
Table of Contents lists:
- 3.9 AI content review and approval
- 3.10 AI System Bill of Materials
- 3.11 Governance
Body has:
- 3.9 AI System Bill of Materials
- 3.10 Governance
So "AI content review and approval" appears only in the ToC, and every section from 3.9 onward is shifted by one. The ToC implies eleven requirements under Section 3, while the body has ten.
This is present both in the working copy in this repository (docs/…RFC.docx) and in the published Version 1.0 in the Reference-Material repository (AI-SBOM-Compliance/en/…Guide.md, .docx, .pdf).
Two possible fixes, depending on intent:
- If "AI content review and approval" was intentionally dropped or merged, the ToC entry should be removed and 3.9–3.10 renumbered to match the body.
- If the section was meant to exist, the body is missing it and the content needs to be added.
Could the working group clarify which is intended? Happy to send a PR for the ToC-alignment case against the Reference-Material markdown once the intent is confirmed.
