Fix record test script

Right now the QtTesting recording / playback feature does not work.

• It should allow you to record and save an XML file with the recording
• You should be able to "play" the XML file

This was partly fixed by #625, but does not include all widgets / signals, etc. so you only get hydrocarbons, etc.
