I happened to have Solum EL029F5C4C device. It's claimed to be built on a Silabs chip and have a 2.9" monochromatic E-Ink. I didn't find any ready solution for it, and there is no good table for supported hardware as of now (chip - screen - hacking method).
What would you suggest for a newbie with his first device?
I can detach the screen and replace the hardware with some ESP32 board with E-Ink connector, but that seems boring and not power efficient ;)
