Dear @mohsamaz, Can you clarify your question? ServoDyn will pass the generator speed known by OpenFAST (as calculated by ElastoDyn) to the controller. Why would you want to send ROSCO a generator speed that differs from the actual calculated value? FYI: ROSCO uses as input generator speed, not rotor speed. Best regards, |

Hello Dear NREL team,
I am new to OpenFAST and would appreciate your guidance if my question is not very precise.
I understand that in ROSCO, the rotor speed is obtained from ServoDyn. However, is it possible for ROSCO to accept rotor speed or other input parameters from external sources instead? and how?
It would be appreciated if you can explain and help me.
