Community Tools for Automating OpenFAST DLC Workflows

Hi everyone,

I’d like to share a set of OpenFAST-related tools I developed during an academic project to help with running and monitoring OpenFAST DLC simulations, which may be useful for users running large numbers of DLC simulations or campaigns:

OpenFAST-DLC-Runner
Automates execution of individual DLC simulations by updating wind inputs, HydroDyn configurations, running OpenFAST, and organizing outputs.

OpenFAST-Output-Monitor
A Python-based tool for real-time and post-processing visualization of OpenFAST outputs, with automatic plotting of key parameters, eliminating manual charting and simplifying analysis.

OpenFAST-DLC-Campaign-Runner
Runs sequential execution of multiple DLCs as a campaign, managing outputs across cases and reducing the need for manual intervention.
