Is it feasible to add support for DSO2D15 oscilloscope?

I have Hantek DSO2D15 oscilloscope and just adding

 ATTRS{idVendor}=="049f", ATTRS{idProduct}=="505e", TAG+="uaccess", TAG+="udev-acl", MODE="660", GROUP="plugdev"

to the 60-openhantek.rules did not do the trick. I suspect some code changes are needed and API might be a bit different from that of 6022. I'd appreciate any pointers to what can be tried.
