Notable issues exist with months and ymd_placeholder_short. First, in East Asia, dates are written in the yyyy/mm/dd order, not dd/mm/yyyy. It seems necessary to reorder the ymd dates displayed in the slider's range box and the Change Date popup window in Korean webpage.

Next is the matter of the East Asian time units. Years are suffixed with -년 (年 nyeon), months with -월 (月 wol), and days with -일 (日 il) after the number. So December 25, 2025 becomes ‘2025년 12월 25일’ (2025年 12月 25日; 2025-nyeon 12-wol 25-il) in Korean. These units should be attached to all three elements. If the system architecture only allows a suffix for one of the elements, it might be visually preferable to omit the units entirely (2025 12 25).

Additionally, BC and AD (기원전 / 서기) must always precede the year. 1200 BC is 기원전 1200년 (Giwonjeon 1200-nyeon), and 2025 AD is 서기 2025년 (Seogi 2025-nyeon). Technically, the counterpart to 기원전 (giwonjeon, lit. before the origin) is 기원후 (giwonhu, lit. after the origin), but this is rarely used in modern contexts. '서기' (Seogi, lit. western calendar origin) is far more common and widely accepted as it feels natural even for contemporary dates.

Unfortunately, I don't speak Chinese or Japanese, so I can only comment on the Korean translation. I hope native speakers of those languages will help ensure an appropriate localization.
