Currently lot of failures occur in the Cron Job builds. Investigate the possible causes and clean up the builds.

This issue is also intended to address the test redesign and think about other alternatives for how we can group our tests. It would also be good to look into ways to limit hard coding where possible when putting together the list of test groups. Refer to #1308 and #1456.
