Context
After we can successfully target the TrICal emulator, the next step is to directly send an experiment to ARTIQ. Since TriCal is still under development it should be anticipated that there will be further work to do to ensure that the OpenAPL generated by Catalyst is compliant. The focus of this work is to clean up any problems encountered when moving from TriCal to ARTIQ.
Unknowns:
- How do we know if the generated OpenAPL is accepted by ARTIQ without the underlying system being ready?
- Requires a conversation with OQD.
- How will actually scheduling an experiment to run on ARTIQ work.
Requirements:
The OpenAPL generated by Catalyst is correct and accepted by ARTIQ.
