Better organize service-dependent code and notebooks #590
Description
In a nutshell, I think we need to do a few things:
- Identify the services and datasets that our libraries rely on (for testing; for functionality; for notebooks)
- Ensure that these services and datasets are available (perhaps explore running a dedicated web-accessible GeoServer?)
- Clearly delineate in libraries the modules and notebooks that require online server access and ensure that when these services are underperforming/retired, the libraries/notebooks can still work to some degree
