tabulars in figures

For an example, line 39 of https://github.com/APEXCalculus/APEXCalculus_Source/blob/master/text/01_Limit_Introduction.tex has an \mtable (a margin table). SL2X made this became a figure/tabular rather than a table/tabular. Is that intentional? The DTD does not like figure/tabular.

There were two ways I could do it, so I'll try the other
(more complicated)
way if this does not work.
