PDL Develops, coordinates, and schedules the use of media sources in advertising campaigns. Performs special assignments and related work.
- Responsible for the media planning and execution of a given film campaign.
- Responsible for overall accurate maintenance of all media overviews and reports.
- Reviews media opportunities and provides recommendations to stakeholders.
- Communicates regularly with external media agency and key publishers/media partners to ensure media planning is aligned with objectives.
- Collaborates with various internal PDL departments and divisions of PDL Discovery maximize media efforts.
- Assists with creating and maintaining PowerPoint presentations for management and filmmakers.
- Backs up VP/Director of Global Media as necessary.
- Coordinates special film projects and explores opportunities for development.
- Bachelor’s degree required; emphasis in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, or a related field strongly preferred.
- Sufficient knowledge of marketing and linear/digital media is required to develop media plans for the promotion of PDL films.
- Able to develop, manage, and monitor budgets and expenditures.
- Able to communicate with all levels of management on media related issues.
- Able to analyze the effectiveness of media advertising.
- Able to supervise, guide and evaluate staff in the performance of their tasks.
- Ability to manage document revisions required.
- Must be able to communicate tactfully and effectively with all levels of personnel, in person, over email and on the telephone.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Must be able to work under time constraints in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, when necessary.
