You might have recently noticed that many past issue replies, and comments from our first author and core maintainer, @SHYuanBest, have suddenly disappeared or are now showing up from a "Ghost" user. This has caused significant confusion in the context of our historical discussions. Unfortunately, this is because @SHYuanBest's GitHub account was unexpectedly and inexplicably suspended/deleted by GitHub without any prior warning or explanation.
We submitted an official appeal to GitHub Support immediately after this happened, but we have been met with total radio silence and haven't received any response yet. We are now reaching out to the broader open-source community for help:
- Has anyone experienced a similar sudden account suspension? What is the most effective way to handle it?
- Does anyone have direct contacts or escalation channels at GitHub? Any advice on how to accelerate the support ticket process?
